There is no Blue Wave

Since the slim (and I mean slim) victory of Doug Jones in Alabama there has been a mantra coming from the Democrat-Media complex about a coming “blue wave” for the 2018 mid-term elections. The problem is, there aren’t, as is common with Democrat talking points, any facts to back it up. The case in reality is that there is a lot of evidence to the contrary.

The Democrat party’s messaging relies on people to have a short attention span when it comes to politics, this is why people like Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump are so vilified by the Left, the get people excited and paying attention which destroys their ability to lie and obfuscate reality. The talking point currently is that they’ve done great in the special elections supposedly because they barely won Alabama after a campaign of accusations of pedophilia that resulted in the loss of John Conyers (D-MI) and Al Franken (D-MN), as well as the media, politicians, and Hollywood having to finally admit they protected Harvey Weinstein and Bill Clinton. What actually happened in the special elections:

  • Ron Estes (R) won the special election in Kansas to replace Mike Pompeo
  • Karen Handel (R) won the special election in Georgia to replace Tom Price, the most expensive house race in history the Democrats spent millions and lost
  • Greg Gianforte (R) won the special election in Montana to replace Ryan Zinke
  • Ralph Norman (R) won the special election to replace Mick Mulvaney
  • Doug Jones (D) narrowly defeated Roy Moore in the Alabama special election to replace Jeff Sessions

They actually won 1 out of 5 of the special elections that were sold as referendums against Trump, and winning in Alabama only after scathing accusations were mounted a month before the election which did result in very embarrassing revelations against Democrats in Congress and weak responses from their party’s leadership that resulted in Democrats looking complicit in sexual misconduct and almost apologetic for the accused based solely on political affiliation. Democrats try and point to the Virginia gubernatorial race as “proof” of a referendum even though Virginia voted Democrat in the Presidential election and Terry McAuliffe is a Democrat, so there has been no change to the party in the Governor’s mansion in Richmond.  As stated earlier, Democrats rely on short attention spans, they rely on people forgetting that they said EVERY special election would be a referendum on Trump and they LOST 4 of them.

Democrats can use polls to attempt to create the perception of a Democrat surge, but when it comes to politics, people put their money where their mouth is. Gold is what greases the wheels of war in Washington and the Democrat party is pulling out it’s pockets. FEC disclosures for November have shown the Democrat party has had the lowest fundraising season in a non-election year since 2007. The DNC is currently $2.6 million in debt, where as the Republican party has $39.9 million cash on hand.

No amount of rhetoric, propaganda, and shilling from media lapdogs will replace the facts. Nobody is willing to put their money behind the Democrat party, and that is most likely due to their lack of platform. The American people seem to have spoken, even amid the most negative press coverage and the lowest approval ratings of any sitting President in recent history, nobody is willing to finance Russian conspiracy theories, bitter losers, and a party that wont let go of their election loss.
