Here are the hot ticket news items from today, and a sneak peak into our show development for Wrongthink Radio when we go live on Sundays:
It’s True, we are doing better under Trump
A CNN poll conducted by SSRS shows 57% of Americans view the country as “doing well” under President Donald Trump. This percentage is the highest since 2007, and higher than any point when Obama was in office. The jump in these numbers is attributed to Democrats, who in February showed only 27% feeling the country was doing well, that number has since risen to 40%. When CNN wrote about their own poll, they first had to mention Donald Trump’s approval rating and waited until the fourth paragraph of their story to even mention that Obama never achieved this high a rating.[I]
Democrats Lie for Votes, What’s new?
The bankrupt Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) was called out for sending an email lying to their constituents that if they got enough signatures on a petition they could force President Trump to be questioned by Robert Mueller. This is further proof of the Democrats deciding that their strategy in November is “impeach Trump” rather than presenting any policy decisions, or apologizing for their corrupt behavior revealed in the release of their emails prior to the 2016 election. The suggestion that a signed petition on the internet could somehow usurp normal legal practice, and the necessity of a subpoena signed by a federal judge to get anyone to be questioned by legal authorities not only requires you to assume that your constituents are either completely ignorant to how this nation works, or that you believe you could create this false narrative which would become a reality in the minds of low-information voters.[ii]
Melania Trump Gets Cyberbullied for Her Anti-Cyberbullying Campaign
First Lady Melania Trump revealed one of her initiatives today, one meant for children focusing on topics such as well-being, social media use, and opioid abuse. The title of the program is “Be best”. The First Lady said this at the unveiling ceremony: “As a mother and as first lady, it concerns me that in today’s fast-paced and ever-connected world, children can be less prepared to express or manage their emotions and oftentimes turn to forms of destructive or addictive behavior such as bullying, drug addiction or even suicide.” Her motto drew a firestorm on Twitter and relentless mocking of her accent, as well as referring to her as a porn star, which is odd since the Left has adopted an actual porn star to be the unofficial chair of the DNC. [iii]It is fascinating that cyber bullying is one of the keystones to this campaign since that’s where Leftists went to mock the first lady for her command of the English language as well as whatever else they were planning to tell their therapists today.
This is why nobody likes the Left.
Apparently at The University of Florida, Being a Disruptive Jackass is Cultural
The University of Florida has come under fire for “racism” after several students were removed from the stage when they danced to receive their diplomas. Wrongthink Radio had an audience member in attendance at the event who relayed to us that the black students were not the only students to be removed from the stage for holding up the proceedings, therefore, it wasn’t racism. That didn’t stop NBC from airing coverage convincing their audience that there was some bigot dragging black students off stage in a fit of white supremacist anger. Some students even claimed they were performing “cultural” and “personal” dances as part of receiving their degrees, the reality is, they were acting like they were in the club, when in reality they were representing their college and their families on stage at a professional ceremony. Wrongthink Radio did a short video on this situation and Aaron’s thoughts if you’d like to view it, and footage of students being removed from the stage here:
