A man suspected by police of fatally shooting a Trump supporter in downtown Portland last weekend was killed in Lacey Thursday night when authorities tried to arrest him during a traffic stop. A spokesperson for the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department said officers responded to a home in Lacey to find a suspect believed to be involved in Aug. 29’s fatal protest shooting in Portland.
